Andy's Guide to Lancaster, Lancashire
toddlers in Lancaster, Lancashire
Lancaster is the county town of Lancashire, England It is situated on the River Lune and has a population of 45,952. Lancaster is a constituent settlement of the wider City of Lancaster, a local government district which has a population of 138,375 and encompasses several outlying settlements, including neighbouring Morecambe. Long existing as a commercial, cultural and educational centre, Lancaster is the settlement that gives Lancashire its name. Lancaster has several unique ties to the British monarchy; the House of Lancaster was a branch of the English royal family, whilst the Duchy of Lancaster holds large estates on behalf of Elizabeth II, who herself is also the Duke of Lancaster. Lancaster was granted city status in 1937 for its "long association with the crown" and because it was "the county town of the King's Duchy of Lancaster".

Andy set up childrenarewelcome in 2014 after getting a bit bored of the other sites out there. He wanted a place where parents could go for impartial advice and reviews from people with local knowledge. And then he persuaded other bloggers that they needed that kind of site too! Andy lives in Chiswick with his wife, a toddler and one on the way. He used to be an investment banker but got bored of it.

Your capital may be at risk but can investing in aircraft improve your finances? - by Andy
Your capital may be at risk but can investing in aircraft improve your finances? - by Andy - ATR TakeoffSmall.png
When I am not running childrenarewelcome I work for a Peer-to-Business lender which allows people like you and me to invest anything from £100 in aircraft and earn rates of 10% plus. Obviously this is not something for everyone and there are risks involved. You should never risk more than a sensible amount of your savings and most importantly you should make sure that you understand the risks on the different loans.
