TinBoxTraveller's Guide to Gosport, Hampshire
toddlers in Gosport, Hampshire
This peninsular town offers a bit of everything for families: beaches, parks and attractions. There’s the seaside resort of Lee-on-the-Solent, the splash park in Alverstoke and regular family events in Walpole Park.

Gosport has close links to the Royal Navy, having once been a major military town. It is just across the harbour from Portsmouth and is linked to the city by the famous Gosport ferry, extending the activities on offer to visitors and residents alike. Gosport itself hosts the Royal Navy Submarine Museum, Explosion! The Museum of Naval Firepower and Little Woodham - a living history village set in 1642.

TinBoxTraveller - our Gosport, Hampshire Blogger.
Hi there! I'm Claire (aka Tin Box Traveller). I live in beautiful Hampshire with my patient husband, our lively Lab Retriever and terror tot daughter (born February 2013). My blog shares our holidays and short breaks in the UK, as well as day trips and general family life. Oh, and by the way, we are caravan-ists, but otherwise quite nice!!
