TinBoxTraveller's Guide to Eastleigh, Hampshire
parent bloggers in Eastleigh, Hampshire
You’d be forgiven for thinking Eastleigh was a commuter town. After all it has great rail links to London and there’s international flights out of Southampton Airport right on its doorstep. But there’s a lot more to this borough than meets the eye.

Eastleigh is located between Southampton and Winchester. It stretches from the picturesque river-side towns of Hamble and Netley on its southern border to the suburban areas of Fairoak and Chandlers Ford in the north. It has its own contemporary arts centre, The Point, and a thriving town centre including The Swan shopping centre and restaurant complex. For families there’s fun to be had at Eastleigh Lakeside Steam Railway, Itchen Valley Country Park and Royal Victoria County Park.

Hi there! I'm Claire (aka Tin Box Traveller). I live in beautiful Hampshire with my patient husband, our lively Lab Retriever and terror tot daughter (born February 2013). My blog tinboxtraveller.blogspot.co.uk shares our holidays and short breaks in the UK, as well as day trips and general family life. Oh, and by the way, we are caravan-ists, but otherwise quite nice!!
